Become a project supervisor
Engineers for a Sustainable World is interested in identifying project supervisors to guide student teams in conducting projects.
Who are we looking for?
Project supervisors may be Cornell faculty or other professionals who have technical expertise. Each project supervisor will take responsibility for guiding a team of students in a selected project for a least one semester (projects may go on longer than a semester). Through the course lectures and assignments, students are given structure to facilitate progress in their projects, and the course instructors are available to support the project supervisors as well. The course can also provide funding to support the projects when necessary. If desired, the course instructors can work with the project supervisor to identify a project topic within his or her area of interest and expertise, and a partner community organization to work with. Since the students and course professor are in Ithaca, New York, local project supervisors are preferred.
